Aunt Spoon goes to the forest to deliver lunch to Carl the woodcutter. On her way, she meets Ruuli, who seems to be crying. When she hears the story, she says that Carl is about to cut down the fir tree where the squirrel family lives. Her aunt devises a plan with Ruuri to prevent the trees from being cut down.
