News Reports 9 Students Kidnapped In Delta Freed by Joshua Biem April 3, 2024 Published by Joshua Biem April 3, 2024 7 Nine students who were kidnapped last Friday in Delta State have regained their freedom.The spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe, confirmed their release by their abductors in a terse message he sent to LEADERSHIP on Monday night.He wrote: “All nine of them have regained their freedom please.” The students were abducted by gunmen while travelling on the East-West Road in Ughelli, Delta State.Sources said the students were travelling in a Sienna from Calabar on Friday night around the Evwreni axis of the East-West Road in Delta when their vehicle was seized and diverted by kidnappers.
