Police Nab Two “One-Chance” Armed Robbery Suspects in Nasarawa

The Police Command in Nasarawa State says it has arrested two suspects for alleged “one-chance” robbery operations in the state.

“One-chance” refers to a robbery operation were armed robbers use disguised commercial vehicles to pick unsuspecting passengers and dispossess them of their valuables while in transit.

DSP Ramhan Nansel, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, told newsmen on Tuesday in Lafia that the suspects were arrested in Keffi Local Government Area.

Nansel explained that the suspects aged 52 and 45 years, were arrested at about 9:45 a.m. in Angwan Lambu, Keffi, based on intelligence.

“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects usually posed as taxi drivers to pick unsuspecting passengers and drive away to unknown destinations.
