Nextier’s Nigeria Violent Conflicts Database recorded 19 violent incidents between the 11th and 17th of August 2024. These incidents resulted in 33 casualties (26 fatalities and seven injured persons) and 41 kidnap victims. While violent incidents and kidnap count increased, casualty count decreased compared to the previous week.
