News Reports Bandits Kill Four Katsina Farmers, Abduct Eight Others by Joshua Biem December 18, 2023 Published by Joshua Biem December 18, 2023 4 The Katsina State Police Command has said suspected bandits killed four farmers and abducted eight others from Nahuta village in the Batsari Local Government Area of the state on Saturday. The state police spokesman, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, confirmed the attack on Sunday in Katsina. He said the farmers were harvesting their crops when the assailants struck. According to the News Agency of Nigeria, one of the farmers who managed to escape sustained gunshot wounds. “The suspected bandits attacked the farmers, opened fire on them thereby killing four and injuring one; they also abducted eight others,’’ Aliyu said.
