News Reports Gunmen Kill APC Chieftain in Imo by Joshua Biem May 12, 2023 Published by Joshua Biem May 12, 2023 14 A member of Imo State’s All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Capt. Tony Enoch, was reportedly killed by suspected IPOB members in Oru East Local Government Area of the state. A source who disclosed this to DAILY POST on Thursday said the victim, a retired military officer and also a kinsman of Governor Hope Uzodinma, was killed while returning from an APC stakeholder meeting. The gunmen reportedly ambushed the deceased around Awomama Technical School in Oru-East and, after killing him, dumped his corpse in the boot of his car. The Imo State Police Command Public Relations Officer did not pick up his calls and did not respond to text messages sent to him.
