In this review week (September 1 – 7, 2024), 15 Nigerian states recorded 63 casualties (57 fatalities and six injured victims) and 37 kidnap victims from 20 violent incidents. The week saw violent incidents and the kidnap count increase by 43 and 311 per cent, respectively, compared to the previous week.
