News Reports Nine Injured in Ogun Gas Explosion by Joshua Biem March 11, 2024 Published by Joshua Biem March 11, 2024 6 The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that nine persons were injured in a gas explosion on Saturday at a steel company in Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State. The explosion was reported to have occurred at Phoenix Steel Mills in Ogijo. The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident in a statement on Sunday, adding that the victims of the blast were factory workers. Odutola added that the victims were taken to Rolayo Private Hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
