News Reports Police Arrest Two for Alleged Damage to Enugu Airport Fence by Joshua Biem January 15, 2024 Published by Joshua Biem January 15, 2024 3 The Enugu State Police Command has arrested one Jonathan Emejulu, 66, for alleged malicious damage to a part of the perimeter fence of Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu. The State’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, revealed this in a statement on Sunday in Enugu. Ndukwe said that Emejulu was arrested by police operatives alongside another male suspect. According to him, exhibits recovered from the suspects included: two pickaxes, five Monday hammers, two shovels, and reinforcement bars. “They shall be arraigned in court and prosecuted once investigations are concluded,” Ndukwe indicated. “Further development will be communicated on the matter,” he said.
