News Reports Troops Ambush Terrorists In Kaduna, Kill One, Recover Arms by Olivia Aniunoh May 16, 2024 Published by Olivia Aniunoh May 16, 2024 3 Troops of Nigerian Army deployed for Counter-terrorism operations in Kaduna State ambushed terrorists transiting with arms in the Birnin Gwari axis of the state on Wednesday. The ambush is in a response to actionable intelligence, according to the Nigerian Army. The troops laid in ambush around Kwaga Village for the terrorists, known for causing mayhem within the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area, neutralizing one terrorist, while others fled in disarray. The quick reaction of the troops not only prevented a potential attack on innocent citizens in the area, but also led to the recovery of 2 AK 47 Rifles with magazines, as well as 2 motorbikes. Troops are currently in pursuit of the fleeing terrorists.
